WHEELING -- The girls soccer team improved to 3-0 thanks to an 8-1 victory against invading Weir High at the 16th Street Field. It marks the third straight outing that the Knights have scored eight goals. Weir actually struck first in the game, but the Knights weren't fazed. Sophomore Rylee Wright (2), freshman Elah Konkle (2), sophomore Loni Kusic (2), senior Seneca Heller and sophomore Maddie Kirchner all tallied a goal for the Knights. Assisting on those goals were Konkle (3), Kusic, Mariah Ratcliffe, Elizabeth Steele, Gianna Konkle and Monti Smith. Junior Bella Fitzsimmons was once again strong in net, recording five saves.
