WHEELING -- The girls soccer team made it two wins in as many outings Tuesday with its second straight victory by an 8-0 score. This time, however, the win came over Brooke. Once the Knights broke through with just before the mid-way point of the first half, they never looked back. Sophomore Rylee Wright continued her early season goal barrage by recording a hat trick. She was joined in the goal column by freshman Elah Konkle, who had a pair. Other goal scorers included: Seneca Heller, Elizabeth Steele and Gianna Konkle, who found the back of the net on a penalty kick. Assists were credited to Elah Konkle (3), Heller (2), Wright, Loni Kusic, Steele, Monti Smith and Maddie Kirchner. Junior Bella Fitzsimmons turned away all five Bruin shots on goal.
